The C.M.S. selection methodology will be developed to treat the minimization of the environmental impact production and se of materials as primary objectives, and to balance these against cost. Collaborations with the Technical University of Delft, the University of Gothenberg, and the Swiss Bundesamt fur Umvelt will provide raw data. We shall develop data processing methods, selection strategies and case studies (this last in collaboration with the industrial partner Panasonic). Granta Design will provide software engineering skills and produce and market the product.
