Summary on Grant Application Form |
The East Midlands Faraday Partnership will harness the academic strengths and expertise of the Universities of Loughborough and Nottingham, together with the industrial and technology transfer expertise of the Pera Group. The activities of the Partnership will radiate from the East Midlands Region and focus on the rapidly growing and evolving SMI supply chain which manufactures systems products comprising interdependent electronic and mechanical parts. Pump priming funding will be used to establish a mature, effective and self-sustaining partnership between academia and industry. A platform will be created upon which to build, within four years, an extended portfolio of research and technology transfer activities that will unite key academic groups and industry toward a common purpose.
