Summary on Grant Application Form |
The VF will formalise our initial work on integration of the two approaches with a veiw to designing a hybrid prototype system for HAZOPS. The techniques wil be extended to cover batch processes wher the process dynamics and discontinuities must be considered. The ideas will be illustrated in a case study. The VF will alos investigate the role of quantitative dynamic process models within a prototype online systems. The aim is to improve the quality of the diagnosis proposed.
