Continuation and expansion of the research programme of the Condensed Matter Theory Group in Theoretical Physics at Oxford. Research topics include: exact results for interfaces, wetting and random surfaces; new methods for stochastic non-equilibrium systems; dynamics of complex and frustrated systems; random magnets and percolation; frustrated antiferromagnets; quantum Hall systems; electronic properties of solids; strongly correlated low-dimensional systems; heavy fermions; lattice Boltzmann simulations of wetting, multiphase flow and confined geometrics.
