|
The US, via the Department of Defence, has instigated a major research project to improve competitiveness by investigating the application of lean principles to aerospace companies. No such programme has been undertaken in the UK. the Lean Aerospace Initiative in the UK will initially comprise a short exercise to deliver a fast-track set of implementable tools/processes making use of prior work and to identify gaps in the UK version of the Lean Enterprise Model.
