Summary on Grant Application Form
Our main objective is to study various stochastic equations on the loop manifold. The models we are interested in generalise those studied recently by Driver, Kazumi and Fanaki. In particular we are interested in the case when the drift is an unbounded operator of the form studied by Funaki, namely the nonlinear laplacian while the diffusion is of the form of Driver. Existence of related diffusion may lead to better understanding of the relationship between Quantum Field Theory and loop manifolds. We plan to construct diffusions over spaces of regularly enough functions from a given manifold with boundary into another one.
