Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project is intended to radically improve the production process in the film and TV industry by the research into and the development of an open standard software systems framework, to support a pre-visualisation, 3D virtual planning environment and the automated direction of live action motion equipment. It should enable the motion picture industry to substantially improve creative content experimentation at minimal cost. The results will accelerate the convergence of the Film and TV industry and dramatically improve resource management in the Industry. The environment should also enable extended access to expensive specialised equipment to enable SME to contribute more effectively to the industry.
