Summary on Grant Application Form |
I propose to use the unique advantages of dendrimers, namely low viscosity at high molecular weights to construct large chromophore containing arrays for NLO applications. By constructing asymmetric dendrimers, collective poling of the chromophores will ensure, leading to high alignment and fast non-linear responses.
