Summary on Grant Application Form |
The successful exploitation of PI will dramatically reduce plant capital cost, improve intrinsic safety, minimise environmental impact and raise energy efficiency. The main problem is not the availability of ideas or technology but rather industrial awareness and will to exploit new ideas. The network will tackle the problem by bringing industrialists and academics together in a forum where PI and its implementation is discussed. We hope to be as successful in promoting PI as HEXAG has been in advancing the use of compact heat exchangers in the UK.
