Summary on Grant Application Form
A new rapid centrifugal liquid-liquid chromatography (CLLC) instrument is being developed that will be capable of parallel, high resolution purifications of a number of chemical/biochemical substances within minutes with 100% sample recovery. The feasibility of scaling down Flame Ionisation Detectors (FID) for an integrated in-line separation and analysis system suitable for downstream combinational chemistry application will be undertaken in parallel. This is a collaborative venture between Engineers from Brunel University and Chemists from Swansea University.
