Summary on Grant Application Form |
The MAPPSEE project will research the representation of three types of architecture: product, process, and supply chain. The project will develop a framework for exploring the emergent issues concerning th interaction of these architectures brought about by the extended enterprise. It will propose a specifi framework for the use of SE teams to manage the asynchronous nature of these architectural structures in the context of a current multi-national aerospace project. The project will further develop the notion of 3DCE and propose methods for its implementation within the aerospace project . The portfolio of extant processes and conceptual product designs, provided by a lead industrial partner (and a selection of firms from the network of project partners), will provide the research environment for the investigation.
