Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aim of the project is to investigate strategies for multiple expert fusion with a view to improving the recognition performanceof pattern classifiers. One of the main objectives will be to develop theorectical models to underpin existing fusion strategies and to enhance the current understanding of expert fusion processes in order to facilitate the development of novel classifier combination techniques. An essential part of the theoretical development will be experimentation on real data to confirm the validity of any new theories, and the practical utility of new fusion strategies.
