Summary on Grant Application Form |
This proposal aims to:1. To create new interconnect and packaging technologies for hybrid mm-wave circuits using oxidised porous silicon substrates.2. To apply these technologies in a demonstrator low cost stabilised millimeter wave sensor. The source incorporates low loss lines on oxidised porous silicon, an embedded GaAs MMIC VCO, a planar silicon stabilising circuit with embedded Si Schottky diodes and an integrated antenna. Keywords describing areas of proposal.Electronics, Communications, Radar, Microwaves, Millimeter-Waves
