Summary on Grant Application Form |
New P-N bond forming reactions will be used to synthesise a range of PIII and PV ligands. The new ligands will be used in coordination chemistry and tested in a range of catalytic processes including H2S oxidation, alkene oligomerisation and propyne carbonylation. The importance of H-bonding interactions will be studied. New organo-phosphorus systems capable of binding to DNA and switchable catalysts will be prepared.
