|
We request funding to support the 'Twentieth European Dynamics Days 2000' to be held at the University of Surrey in June 2000. This is a conference in a series that has been running since 1980. This is only the second time it will have been held in the UK. The conference has typically attracted 100-400 participants and top quality international speakers, and is the longest running European-wide series of conferences looking at nonlinear dynamical systems and applications.The requested funding would be used firstly to subsidise the travel and accommodation of the main invited speakers so that a moderate registration fee can be maintained, and secondly for secretarial and computing support associated with the conference.
