Summary on Grant Application Form
It is proposed that a network be established with special focus on pharmaceutical thermal analysis. The initial core membership of the network will comprise academic pharmaceutical scientists, thermal analysts and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry. This will constitute a unique approach to both optimising the use of existing techniques and developing novel methods within the pharmaceutical sciences. The group will meet twice a year to discuss issues of mutual interest and a website will be established to disseminate the resulting information as appropriate. It is intended that the group will be a springboard for further collaboration and further support at the end of the three year period.
