Summary on Grant Application Form |
Part of the basis of automatic adaptive system control is the embedded long term prediction model. Available models will be extended to permit model updating using measured channel features. An experimental campaign will identify secondary channel characteristics. Techniques for very low power channel sounding will be evaluated. Adaptive modulation and coding will be explored. An overall HF system using the adaptive and measurement techniques developed will be implemented by simulation.
