Summary on Grant Application Form |
The increasing importance of product quality in the specialty chemical sector demands improved understanding of particle formation processes notably crystallisation. In this application funds are requested to support a research assistant to work on evaluating the feasibility of Synchrotron Radiation Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform InfraRed spectroscopy using the National Synchrotron Light Source at Brookhaven National Laboratory for the on-line control of fast precipitation processes in the pharmaceutical batch processing area.
