Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposed MTP addresses the high-technology training needs of three key industries via flexible modes of provision, closely matched to the current and evolving needs of students and society. The industries directly addressed are: 1) Mobile and Satellite Communications, 2) Digital Multimedia and Broadcasting, 3) Satellite Engineering.Training will be delivered via a flexible mixture of full-time, part-time and short course modes. EPSRC support will be used to offer standard- and enhanced-level studentships, to create new modules in short course and distance-learning formats, to enable teaching from experts from organisations external to the university and to market the course.
