Summary on Grant Application Form |
The support of EPSRC is sought to develop a Masters Training Package in Complex Fluids: Modelling, Simulation and Industrial Applications. The aim of this Training Package is to train and equip graduates with the skills they require to meet the challenge of theological problems in industry. The industrial relevance of the course material and methods of delivery will be monitored by a steering group of industrial rheologists. Invited lecturers will present material on contemporary topics in complex fluids. Through the close involvement of industry we aim to demonstrate that an interdisciplinary course of this nature can provide the ideal training for their workforce. Our objective is that at the end of the five year period this training package will be selffinancing through industrial support and students from the EU and overseas.
