Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aims is to produce a MSc that addresses the need for professional training for local government officers (and other relevant organisations) to equip them with the skills to successfully implement measures to reduce the threat of climate change. The modules developed will be multidisciplinary, focussing on energy engineering solutions. The MTP will be delivered primarily by distance learning and modules will lead to PGCert / PGDip and MSc qualifications. there will also be opportunties fo CPD. In this way, the material is as flexible as possible to the needs of th professional local government officers. The MSc would have an expected intake of 22 Full-Time equivalent students per year, with at least 40 local authority staff taking at least one module.
