Summary on Grant Application Form |
The focus on our joint work will be the security analysis of the Vaidman-Goldenberg protocol for quantum key distribution in the presence of noise and in the context of its practical implementations. We will investigate a possibility of extending the range of the key distributions via quantum repeaters operating along the quantum channel on the orthogonal signal states. Novel quantum two-party communication protocols will be analysed.
