Summary on Grant Application Form |
The topological binary relation R(A) of a triangular regular limit of digraph algebras is a complete isomorphism invariant for isometric isomorphism. We wish to extend the scope of the invariant to both algebraic isomorphism and to nontriangular algebras. This would resolve a problem that has been open for a decade. The analysis of meet-irreducible ideals and the formulation of R(A) in these terms provides an approach to this problem. We shall also attempt to complete the classification of 4-cycle algebras and their weak operator topology closures.
