|
We wish to carry out an exploratory synthesis programme directed towards the synthesis of uranium-containing framework materials. In particular, the project would seek to find syntheses of new porous solids with large threedimensionally connected channels and voids. The research project would also try to elucidate rational syntheses of these materials and devise generalised rules for the construction of novel materials with predefined topologies and dimensionalities.
