|
The Engineering Faculty at Loughborough is committed to conversion of its existing portfolio of 26 Masters programmes to a fully flexible block taught modular structure, creating the opportunity to offer industry and the individual both full-time and part-time learning, within or without the University, and at any stage of the engineer's career. A package is proposed that seeks an integrated and holistic approach to these goals, as opposed to piecemeal development of individual training packages. Such an overall package will offer true flexibility for learning and enable a rapid and cost-efficient response to the changing needs of UK industry. The proposed package will be designed to particularly serve the East Midlands, a region rich in technology-based SMEs.
