Summary on Grant Application Form |
This is an application for the enhancement of existing advanced laser micromachining facilities to underpin an expansion of cross-disciplinary research in Bioelectronics, microengineering, optoelectronics, polymer electronics and nanotechnology being pursued within the School of Informatics, University of Wales, Bangor. The facilities would allow femtosecond laser machining and provide the experimental capability for attacking a range of fundamental, strategic and applied research problems in these diverse disciplines.
