|
The grant is to ensure the continuity of staff and research on UK Lean Aerospace project until such time as a decision is made regarding the new research centree funding and therefore progress to stage three of the Uk LAI research pregramme. The request is for a three month extension until the 30th september 2001 to acheive this. The specific details of the research include the enhancement of the lean Enterprise Framework for existing study areas at Nottingham and to incorporatw research ooutput from all other universities involved in the project into this frameowrk. The additional research will also capture several best practice case studies on the tools employed within the aerospace sector industry to further enhance the framework.
