Summary on Grant Application Form |
The Institute of Applied Catalysis and the University of Bath have collaborated in running a course entitled Industrial Catalytic Processes on two occasions. The course was first run in 1998 and again in 1999. It will be run for the third time in October 2001. The course is unusual in several respects. It attracts participants from both industry and academia; it consists primarily of case studies taught by industrial staff with a high teacher/participant ratio; it is highly participative and it crosses the chemistry/chemical engineering disciplines in terms of participants, teachers and content. This proposal covers two aspects:1. Preparing additional material to be presented during the course in October and provision of IT support for the delivery of the course2. Funding of bursaries for Research Students and PDRAs to enable them to attend
