Summary on Grant Application Form
The zeta function of arithmetic schemes is one of the most important invariants in number theory. The project is to study the zeta function of arithmetic schemes and its functional equation properties by generalizing the theory of Tate and Iwasawa, applying recent IF's theory on harmonic analysis on higher local fields and zeta integrals on their topological K-groups and using adelic and K-idelic objects from higher class field theory.
