Summary on Grant Application Form |
Work of Turaev at Strasbourg on Topological Quantum Field Theory, low dimensional topology and higher dimensional and quantum analogues of Frobenius algebras all have close links with work at Bangor. The proposal asks for support for a visit by Turaev to Bangor for 8 days research discussions on possible future developments in these areas and also to speak at a London Mathematical Society regional meeting at Gregynog Hall mainly organised by colleagues in Cardiff and Swansea.
