Summary on Grant Application Form
EMC design criteria of wireless and wire-line networks are developed for numerous applications (cars, aircraft; etc) However, designers do not share the expertise and experience produced in th edifferent areas. They use different terminologies; participate in different Standards and Regulation committees; attend different conferences and workshops; and consult different reference literature. In the proposed network of excellence, a critical mass of of experts from different areas will study common problems related to EMC and to define design rules of wireless and wire-line networks under EMC constraints to increase the reliability and safety of such systems.Furthermore, a novel approach to university-industry relations will be promoted. this novel approach should address the often said difficulties that universities and industries have found when collaborating on projects that have a measurable impact on society in Europe.
