a) The ShowsA series of entertaining and informative shows designed for audiences of secondary school students. Each show will be in the form of a journey of exploration and discovery led by a main presenter/traveller/narrator who encounters various other characters and explainers on the way. A variety of methods of presentation will be involved, including demonstrations, sketches, songs and drama, as well as a continuous narrative of explanation. b) The CompetitionA competition for school groups to devise and perform their own 10 to 15 minute piece on an appropriate area of science, engineering or technology. These will form pan`. of a bigger show, with auditions leading to a winners show.c) The WorkshopsA series of workshops, designed to introduce the schoolchildren and their teachers to the use of drama and performance as a means of presenting technical ideas and to start them towards devising their piece for the above competition.
