Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aim of the project is to investigate a joint combination of the adaptive equaliser and space-time coding to produce an optimal processor structure which will achieve low latency and low complexity together with high perfomance for the MIMO channel. In addition a realistic model of the MIMO channel for mobile communication will be developed in the early stages of the project and this will be evaluated against sounder measurments. Furthermore, it is very improtant to design concatenated codes for double-differential space-time block coding (DD-STBC) and Turbo TCM codes using channel estimation.
