Summary on Grant Application Form |
The opportunity has arisen for Dr Lewis to spend a six month sabbatical at the University of Sheffield. During that visit she would work on the application of thermodynamic models within the remit of the Sheffield group's work; in particular she will work on how to apply thermodynamic models in a context applicable to industrial problems; specifically the application of thermodynamics to interpreting experimental crystallisation data and the coupling of population balance models to thermodynamic models. In this proposal we seek a partial salary to cover the cost of living difference between South Africa and the UK as well as modest travel and consumable costs.
