Summary on Grant Application Form
This proposal seeks funds to help run a European conference on wearable computing. Following the success of two conferences that we have previously organised on Wearable Computers (in 2001 and 2002), it is proposed that it would be timely to organise a large-scale European conference on this topic. We expect to attract in the region of 200 delegates. The grant will support the administrative costs of both organising the conference and also the dissemination of material through a website. In addition, the grant will provide support for research students to attend the conference at reduced rates (or free or charge).
