|
One of the major aims of the Core e-Science Programme is coordination of the various areas of the whole e-Science programme. The focus on applications rather than generic middleware across the programme has clear advantages in tying the programme's outcomes to real applications, real data and real users. This then requires the various activities to be coordinated and focussed - this will be performed through the following mechanisms;.AHM Meetings, Application Retreats, Technology Meetings, Industrial Liaison Meetings, N+N Meetings, GGF Sponsorship, Sponsoship of International School on Grid Computing, Internal Programme Review Meetings and e-Science Sofwtare Engineering Advisory Board meetings.
