Summary on Grant Application Form |
Sodatrack aims to build substantially on the successes of Sodarace, the online Olympics pitting humans against artificial intelligence, by broadening and deepening it's appeal and significantly increasing its use in UK schools. An active community of Sodarace robot constructors and artificial intelligent researchers already exist online; this new proposal will develop and publicise a custom UK schools portal and appropriate 'easy to use' educational support materials specifically developed for this project to embed the interactive science possible with Sodarace over a range of schools curricula. To raise national awareness of this virtual educational resource we will create 'Sodatrack' an interactive installation to tour the UK .
