Summary on Grant Application Form |
The summer school would last one week (5 days). The format is of 9 units (1 half-day per unit), where the essential mathematical topics are explained in a very practical way. Most mathematical methods are explained in the context of a concrete medical imaging technique currently used in research. The nine units will break down into 5 lectures and 4 practical tutorials where methods are implemented in Matlab. The mathematical topics to be covered are Linear Algebra (i.e. all linear operations), Signal Theory, and Optimisation.
