Summary on Grant Application Form |
The sustainability of urban water systems is an issue of increasing concern in the UK and internationally. Designing sustainable systems requires knowledge of how social and cultural factors interact with technology and infrastructure. Dr Ze Sofoulis is a leading researcher in the field of urban water cultures in Australia. This project aims to bring Dr Sofoulis to the UK as a visiting researcher to enhance interdisciplinary dialogue and develop further funding proposals for international research at the interface between engineering and cultural water research.
