Summary on Grant Application Form
To study enantioselective atom-abstraction reactions of optically active free radicals and to develop methods for kinetic resolution and for asymmetric synthesis which incorporate enantioselective atom-abstraction as the key step. Special emphasis will be given to catalytic processes, which can be mediated by relatively small quantities of optically active catalysts.
