Summary on Grant Application Form
The Langmuir Blodgett technique will be used to create organised assemblies designed for controlled, rapid, and useful manipulation of photoelectron motion on a molecular scale. The electroactive elements are triad molecules. The assemblies will allow novel study of: 1. The primary act of photosynthesis, as mimicked by the triad; 2. A new design of triad shift register; 3. Controlled injection of carriers into Organic Quantum Wells.
