|
It is proposed to study the connection between spectral asymptotics for partial differential operators acting on a manifold and geometric characteristics of the manifold. The problems to be studied include:I) spectral asymptotics for elliptical operators acting on a non-compact manifold; ii) relations between asymptotics of the counting function of an elliptic system of differential operators and properties of the corresponding Hamiltonian flows; andiii) spectral asymptotics for non-elliptic (in particular, semi elliptic) partial differential operators.
