Summary on Grant Application Form |
To investigate, principally by photoluminescence spectroscopy, the behaviour of hydrogen in silicon. The factors to be investigated will include solubility, diffusion, mechanisms of incorporation and the formation and destruction of complexes of hydrogen with other impurities, native defects and extended defects, and their atomic and electronic structures. The work will involve some theoretical modelling as well as experimental measurements.
