Summary on Grant Application Form |
A cell will be designed and built so that users of the reflectometry instruments at ISIS can undertake experiments where the organisation at the solid liquid interface can be studied. Systems of interest include adsorbed polymers, polymer solutions, surfactants, colloidal dispersons. A series of experiments on polymers end grafted to the solid surface will be undertaken as part of the evaluation and commissioning programme. The cell will be made available to other users during this commissioning period.
