|
Methods will be investigated for forming water-based ionomer dispersions containing zirconium, calcium and other metal species. Both prepolymerisation and postpolymerisation routes for adding metal species to the system will be studied. The colloidal stability and rheological properties of the dispersions will be investigated. Films and surface coatings will be formed from dispersions and their properties correlated with the ionomer.
