Summary on Grant Application Form |
The programme will allow a complete characterisation of the structure and curing processes of novel silicate matrix composites. This knowledge will be used in the development of rapid curing processes using microwave heating and alternative curing agents with the objective of developing moulding compounds based on the silicates. Optimisation of fibre-matrix bonding will be a further important element of this work.
