A new model evolution equation has been proposed for describing the movement of flame fronts, with the memory-effect of vorticity taken into account. The project will investigate the dynamics of solutions of this equations, including its relationship with previous relevant models. All new forms of behaviour will be identified and studied with the intention of learning more about the real behaviour of hydrodynamically unstable flames in both two and three dimensions.
