Summary on Grant Application Form |
A high sensitivity thermogravimetric experimental station is requested for catalyst characterisation and preparation studies. More specifically, the station will be used for catalytic surface area measurement, catalytic sintering studies and investigation for the effect of drying conditions on catalytic surface area. These studies are complementary to research currently carried out in the areas of automotive catalysis and catalytic membrane reactors and are essential for elucidating catalyst behaviour.
