|
We have proposed to synthesise Bryostatin 1. Key steps will be a novel C-glycosidation between a highly functionalised E-vinyl alane and a glycosyl fluoride and a chemoselective macro lactonisation. A catlytic asymmetric ene reaction will be used to creat chirality in both pyran rings of the northern hemisphere.
