Summary on Grant Application Form |
Coxeter matroids are means of translating combinatorial aspects of geometrical and topological problems into the highly developed language of Coxeter groups. Work of Visiting Fellows will concentrate on the application side of the theory, with special attention to certain structures arising in Mathematical Physics (Kontsevich graph cohomology), and with emphasis on the most important class of Coxeter matroids - symplectic matroids.
